Visste du at...: Astronautmat edition
Did you know that...
...the first meal eaten in space was steak and liver pâté from a tube, followed by chocolate sauce from a tube. These meals showed that humans could eat and swallow in microgravity without problems. Later, the Gemini missions introduced freeze-dried food that could be rehydrated with water, and Apollo astronauts were given a wider variety of meals, including hot dishes. And eventually ice cream. But was it freezing cold? Nope.

Our astronaut ice cream is made in Norway, using the same technique that NASA uses. In collaboration with Isbjørn Ice and Krispy. And soon the first Norwegian-produced astronaut food will hopefully be sent to space with our friends in NåvaSpace!
