Description
The coolest drones are the ones you build yourself! Air: Bit
Air:Bit from MakeKit is a Norwegian-made "Build-a-drone", where you make a quadcopter from scratch. Here you learn while you make, and (hopefully) become wiser about both electronics, batteries, motors and propellers. You can either download a finished program, or code it yourself using MakeCode blocks, Jaascript or Python.
Make the Air:Bit drone fly with motion sensors on a smartphone, tablet or other micro:bit. So you only control by turning the phone!
If you can't get enough, you can build on the Air:Bit with a collision sensor, camera, a buzzer and many other cool things (with an additional sensor kit).
To fly this you must have at least 1 micro:bit. We recommend 2 micro:bits, one for the drone and one for use as a remote control. Then it is the easiest to manage.
NOTE: Micro:bit is not included. If you don't already own a Micro:bit you need to buy one. With a Micro:bit in the house, you have all the possibilities in the world to combine play and programming.
