Description
Galileo Galilei was an Italian physicist and astronomer. He is known as one of the first to use a tin telescope in astronomy.
If you are as engrossed in the starry sky as we are, and at the same time enjoy building your own instruments, this little Galileo telescope is for you!
This Galilean telescope is two lenses held together by a cardboard tube - that's how easy it is to build a telescope. You get an objective lens with 225 mm and a lens for the eye section with a 35 mm focal length. The Galilean telescope takes around 20 minutes to assemble and is a perfect project for groups or school classes. Image stands straight up and down, and the telescope can thus be used during the day, or for astronomical observations (for example lunar craters).
