Description
The Christmas bauble that lights up when you blow on it, just like in Norwegian TV NRK’s Christmas calendar Snøfall (Snowfall).
It looks like magic. Actually, it's...well, electronics magic.
We have tested Julekula on young and old, and all faces light up, in both senses of the word. It's a small, magical moment. And isn’t that what Christmas is all about?
In NRK's Christmas calendar Snøfall, only Santa Claus can blow light into glass baubles. He reads the wish lists children has sent him, and as he blows on a glass bauble it lights up, and the wishes come true. When Andreas saw Snøfall, he fell in love with this little moment, and thought the experience deserved to be there for real. Not just on TV.
The Christmas bauble comes in recycled packaging, and with a charging cable to prepare each new season. Or, if you can't help but blow, you may need to charge it a second time in mid-December. The bauble lights up for about 15 seconds before it goes out and you can blow again. Three long blows make the ball glow continuously until it is blown out. With continuous light, the bauble will need to be recharged every 3-4 hours.
Julekula is an official licensed product, developed in collaboration with NRK. It is made of glass and is not a toy.
(The Christmas bauble must be woken up before first use, by putting it in the charger. The bauble automatically goes to sleep when it is packed away together with pine cones, stars and elves in January.) Charger is included.
