Description
Ant aquarium - A study of ants in a self-sufficient habitat.
The habitat consists of a very nutritious, non-toxic gel in which you have to make 4 small holes to begin the construction of the network of tunnels. You have to hunt for your own ants, around 15 of which you have to find out in the wild. Put them in the ant aquarium, put the lid on and watch the colony work. Within a few days, the ants will build a spectacular system of canals and tunnels, visible from all sides.
In a recent survey, nine out of ten ants answered that they prefer the ant aquarium to the compost heap. This space-inspired housing complex for ants gives you the opportunity to study them in detail.
